Jennifer C. Messina

Founder & President of the Board, LGBTQ VSAP

Jennifer C. Messina is a committed advocate for LGBTQ rights and suicide prevention, serving as the Founder and President of the Board for LGBTQ VSAP (Veterans Suicide Awareness Program). As an Army veteran with over 12 years of federal service and certifications in suicide prevention and crisis intervention, she leads initiatives that provide vital resources and education to veterans and LGBTQ individuals. Jennifer’s advocacy is fueled by her own experiences and a deep passion for fostering resilience, acceptance, and support within these communities.

In addition to her work with LGBTQ VSAP, Jennifer is a successful recording artist whose music focuses on themes of mental health, self-love, and authenticity. She is also an entrepreneur and investor in Biatch Tequila, a women-owned and empowerment-focused liquor brand. Through her diverse endeavors, Jennifer continues to champion mental health awareness, LGBTQ advocacy, and self-empowerment across all aspects of her work.
